This creates buzz and excitement throughout the company, as many people are truly inspired by his "all or nothing" mentality - consulting projects can be very challenging and rewarding for personal growth - middle management is largely supportive of consultants and eager to help when and where they can (unfortunately they are not given a lot of power or authority)

- pay and benefits are uncompetitive (as everyone else will tell you) - turnover among field employees is very high, as realization of how the business is managed sets in - division leadership is disconnected from workforce - leadership comes from outside and often does not have any experience with the product - consultants are often on islands (little or no contact with other consultants, management, or operations) - non-HQ employees do not get any fringe benefits - climbing the ladder is nearly impossible (many long-term employees have jumped to and from the company in order to move up) - company does not care about high attrition, as they believe all employees can be replaced
