The company culture is based on empowerment - give people the tools and responsibility to get the job done, and stay out of the way. Help is available from lots of sources - if you ask for something that aligns with someone else's goals, the teamwork is great. Compensation includes stock-based payments that can be pretty good when the share price is rising.

Raises are a very small part of the total compensation plan. More emphasis is placed on a number of quarterly bonus plans and other temporary pay adjustments. Not a lot of upward mobility due to a very flat organization structure.
