Pay isn't worth the workload, no real support HCP's are told their only job is to test and fit and everything under the sun falls on the OM. Incoming patients(cleanings, repairs, troubleshooting & walk-in), maintaining charts physical and digital, updating info, trying to get google reviews, getting donations, updating intake forms, uploading documents, ordering every supply needed (snack, cleaning supplies & aids), tracking orders & repairs, CRM calls, any call for that matter, any mail that goes out, cleaning devices and office, in addition to billing/invoicing, ALL fall to the office manger. My HCP told me several times it wasnt her job to help me. Again for the work load itself they arent hiring enough people to complete the job. Im forever weeks behind on paperwork because its too much to do alone. With no empathy just more checklist. And never-ending changes to every process from start to finish nothing has stayed the same in any way since I started.
