If there is a good reason to work here, it's because you're a complete sadist who loves being under paid for the area, especially with remote work available doing less and getting paid more.

Minpunten

You will be completely over worked. You will see employee turnover at a level not even seen at telemarketing jobs. People are often fired simply because they complain. They do not give one actual thought about you, your family, or their health and it became very apparent during COVID. They will pretend and have all of the best words to say, but then in a private meeting with you will blast you and your work ethic even though you set multiple records for the company. They will blame you, say you should be lucky to have a job (which, I could have left much earlier because IT is in incredible demand I ended up staying for one person and regret that), and overall just treat you like you're a teenager a week in to your very first dairy queen job. Best work example that you will run into and yes it happened. 2 people fired for refusing to risk their health coming back into the office, I was called back into work after my cousins suicide with that news. We were already under staffed and overloaded. I did not get FMLA, and was forced into negative PTO while I had to assist moving my grandmother. You will care about the clients, they do not. They berate them behind their backs, and encourage it. Finally, it's just an overall toxic workplace. All of the good reviews you see for this place do not come from the support side of things where you're fixing implementations consistent errors, dealing with the clients directly, and resolving issues that T2 wouldn't be resolving. T2 here is basically a mixture of T3/NOC/Server management. Be prepared to be overwhelmed and burned out. I've been waiting to post this as I have never left a bad review of any company and I've worked some terrible ones in the IT industry but this one takes the cake by far. I was also waiting to see if they would even begin changing anything, but they will never learn and I should have known when people were complaining the moment I started.

In the end we had optimal results in keeping staff safe, providing job security while keeping the business operational. We have invested in additional workforce allowing for more coverage and reduced employee workloads in key departments. This has also greatly reduced our need for overtime. In rare cases overtime is necessary, and Mode5 provides proper overtime compensation for those occasions. At Mode5, annual market research and employee surveys are conducted to ensure competitive compensation and benefits. This is an important approach at Mode5 and in recent years significant changes have been made to our pay and benefits to become a leader in our market. We also value work-life balance for our employees. Mode5 recently launched “Free Fridays”, giving employees every other Friday off paid to promote long weekends outside of normal PTO to recharge. Employee retention is an important focus for Mode5. In recent years turnover levels have continued to drop and remain below industry averages. Great people to work with. Get every other Friday off. Constant opportunities to learn a lot in the IT field.

Minpunten

Some people can’t handle not being spoon fed because it does require a lot of figuring out new problems.

- Toxic workplace environment - Management is insulated and does not care about the concerns of employees - Low pay compared to competition - Clearly a profit driven company that will gladly treat their employees as commodities while spewing their nonsense “corporate values”
