Managers have infamous quarterly talent calibration meetings where ICs are stack-ranked against each other. ICs know about these meetings but aren't able to understand where they fall in that rank or what goes into the ranking. - We have a clear CSM to CCO track, but instead of enabling and promoting from within, management continues to hire external ICs at higher levels. - Recognition Gaps.
