Pluspunten
The past couple years have been full of change, process improvement , and new faces but I am excited about the direction and future of this company. Although change is always difficult, the changes being made here have been for the better and are producing a healthy, profitable company.
The culture was difficult to maintain with Covid preventing team activities but in recent months this has taken a turn for the best. MI Olympics, Fix Up Festival, and team celebrations have been a great way to bring people together aside from work and contributed to a reinvigoration of the company culture.
The engineering team is filled with talented and friendly people who I enjoy working with everyday. With fast paced, challenging projects there is seldom a day where I find myself bored or unengaged in my work.
There are high expectations for employees but this positive pressure pushes the team to perform and deliver.
Minpunten
Living in Bozeman presents challenges with expensive housing and a high cost of living (however, being a 15-20 minute drive from the ski mountain is tough to beat). With that in mind, salary is an obvious area where improvements can always be made.
If you are looking for a comfortable, slow paced environment this place is likely not for you. The high standards of the company do require optimum focus and effort to meet expectations.
