Pluspunten
The product is groundbreaking and market leading. Company culture is fun, with lots of nice benefits like massages, catered meals, table tennis, table football etc. The people are mostly great.
Minpunten
1) During the release phase, all scrum processes and principles are abandoned in favour of some sort of management totalitarianism. It's a frustrating mess that is also counter productive. 2) There's serious lack of quality control in the product. Many features are either unfinished, unreliable, or have bad UX. Either this is a legacy issue, or something is seriously inhibiting engineers' ability to produce quality work. Probably both. 3) The top level priorities for the company are ever-shifting, resulting in wasted work, inefficiency, and frustration. 4) Cycle of mass hiring followed by redundancies... This is the reason that I cannot recommend what is otherwise a great company to work for. Sure redundancies happen - it's a part of working life - but it's a recurrent cycle at the company, meaning nobody's job is really secure, and everybody should consider themselves expendable.
