Management doesn't care about the professional growth of the employee and if they do, they don't know the first thing about following through. They send e-mails to the whole firm announcing big verdicts, implying that this will somehow trickle down and be a "good year" for all, only to disappoint everyone annually but the most senior partners. Good work is rewarded...with more work. No discernible leadership.
