- Good work life balance (but this can depend on project) - Relatively easy entry requirements (Easier if your Sgprean/PR) - Smooth learning curve, able to rely on seniors for shadowing in cases and projects. - Comfortable pace of work, not forced to OT (Can claim time off if have to) - Able to communicate with other IT teams within the project. Good exposure if you are deciding on a specialization/niche. - Desktop is generally a front facing role. You learn how to deal with and handle various types of users.
Minpunten
- Account creation takes way too long. Engineers are unable to log and monitor their tickets without accounts. End up having to piggyback off the senior engineers even though you already fully know the ticketing process . - Management can be a hit or miss, either they have your back always, or they throw you under the bus whenever there's a problem.
