- Headcount planning went wrong: They mass-hired many people for the past year and start firing people now. People were asked to leave due to poor performance, but KPIs were not given to us at the beginning till now; they just gave a funny reason for firing people. "You" could have said the company is not doing well; thus layoffs are needed. Please do not give invalid reasons to fire people; this is outrageous. - There need to be transparent conversations between leaders and employees. The management should be more upfront with all the employees about company performance. - Leaders only focus on gaining credits. Despite verbally stressing their concerns for all employees' professional development, the leaders did nothing. For example, there is no monthly and quarterly performance review from the direct reporting managers. - The job scope is manageable: Many experienced HR professionals have been hired to perform simple job scopes, which junior employees can accomplish.
