Pluspunten
-Colleagues are intelligent
-Good internal training programme (although was on hold for 1.5 years due to the pandemic)
Minpunten
-Pay is absolutely awful for junior researchers, many of whom have multiple degrees and a couple years worth of work experience prior to entering the roles. The salaries, particularly in London, do not reflect market rate. Better to work at Ipsos, ONS or in the Government Social Research Profession for much fairer pay and conditions.
-Annual leave entitlement has worsened in recent years - used to be more generous, now just scaping average for the charity sector.
-Lack of progression opportunities, meaning it feels like a revolving door of people leaving and new people being hired.
-Very unsociable work office culture; there's barely anything going on outside of work
