1. Newbie cannot have the permission to view the in-house game engine's code. The in-house engines are easy to crash, but you cannot debug it because you have no code. 2. Even if you are an expert in Computer Graphics/Imaging, you have to write game-play logic using a script language for a long time (1 or 2 years) before you can have the permission to view and modify the game engine's code. Before that, you have no chance even to touch C++, you have to work only with Python all the days. 3. Serious work overtime, for mobile game projects, typically from 9:30am to 0:00am of the next day.
