Unfortunately, the business took a number of mis-steps over the years, which has resulted in Netacea struggling to keep pace with others in the market on both a commercial and product front - just look at the business decline in the most recent Forrester reports.
Following the appointment of a new CEO in 2023, a number of incompotent hires were made, in particular the CRO, who behaves like a small child, has an enormous ego, but doesn't have the commercial ability to match.
I would not recommend joining the commercial team while this individual is in charge. The team mantra should be 'jobs for the boys' - as a number of other incompotent hires have been made by this individual.
The culture and atmosphere at the company is awful, there are no real company values, company events are like funerals and there is absolutely zero positive vibes around the business.
The business moves at snails pace. Unless you're working the the Threat team, your career will probably slow down and come to a shuddering halt. Don't expect a high paced, energetic work environment, especially in the commercial team.
The company is hemoraging people, really good people.
