Billable hour paid on top of salary, so the more you work, the more you're paid. You work independently, without physician oversight. Employer provides a paid training period for audiologists without NIOM experience/CNIM. Travel is manageable -- typical commute is under 30 min. Team and management are all well-matched and supportive. Any issues we have are addressed quickly and with care for the person who raised the issue as well as the rest of the team. Great benefits -- health, dental, education fund, mental health + wellness reimbursement, company events 1-2 times per year, etc. Owners also take cases, so policies and protocols are practical and realistic. We do a wide variety of cases -- neuro (peripheral and crani), endovascular, ortho/spine, DBS.
Minpunten
Some recent turnover, resulting in fewer clinicians for the same number of cases (i.e. everyone is spread thin). Sometimes this means working late and then again in the morning with fewer than 8 hours in between, although thankfully this is rare. Hours are variable and can feel like 'feast or famine'. No schedule predictability -- schedule is sent out at EOD for the following day so there's no way to plan ahead.
