The best reason to work at New Horizon is to be employed if you have another option making the same amount go there. However, if you will do it takes to make a few extra dollars this may be the place for you.

New Horizon has a great group of employees, casual environment, and lots of growth.

The upper management at New Horizon is very disconnected from the guards and support staff. Communication is a serious problem and they do not have the infrastructure to continue getting large contracts. The pay is below average as are benefits. They will fire or make you reapply for your job pretty quickly if they feel things are not going their way. Employee retention is terrible because they make as low as $8.50/hr with no possibility of a raise if the guards stay at the same site. The supervisors are sometimes unreasonable and will go on a "power-trip" and fire people that they need to run sites effectively.
