Pluspunten
Even though Niagara Therapy is possibly the worst place I have ever worked, there are some positives I can think of. It can be a very upbeat place to work, with lots of people laughing, games and fun to increase sales targets and book more outbound appointments to produce sales. It does try and create as much fun as possible to up the moral within the working day.
Minpunten
Niagara is a small direct sales company with a factory based in Denbigh, wales where they make the adjustable and therapy furniture and an outbound cold calling call centre in Crawley, West Sussex. Unfortunately management aren't professional and it feels sometimes they make up the rules as they go along and it’s quite old fashioned in how the company is run and conducts itself. You don’t feel as though you can trust anyone with anything, especially if it’s confidential. The majority of the direct sales agents are men over the age of 60 and it can feel very much like working for the old boys club. Between department to department there’s no sense of helping one another and a lot of points scoring and barriers put up to prevent an easy working relationship between one another. There’s no sense of togetherness and there’s a lot of talking behind peoples back, lack of transparency and honesty. It can feel a very hostile and intense environment to work in with reluctance to change and accept suggestions or differing opinions. It’s not an environment you can grow and flourish in and there’s no opportunity for progression. All in all I would not recommend Niagara what so ever and you should avoid this place like the plague, it’s not worth the pain…honestly!
