There are still people here who are extremely competent and genuinely trying to hold things together. Most of what still works does so because individuals care – not because the system supports them.
Minpunten
The huge amount of funding created split priorities and enabled a toxic, American-style leadership culture focused on “showing” value rather than actually creating it. Leadership avoided dealing with the obviously failed industrialization timeline, which led to massive waste. Instead of adjusting course, everything was buried under PR, buzzwords, and endless presentations. No one addressed the obvious.
