The pay at Novant Health is pretty good. My co-workers are very easy to get along with.

Minpunten

There is a false perception of upward mobility for roles in HR. They promote their favorites and act like everyone has the opportunities for growth in the organization based on those few promotions. It’s all just smoke and mirrors at Novant Health.

Pluspunten

Good pay, benefits, time off, and they strive hard to make employees feel heard. Not afraid of change or doing something different. Definitely a lot of effort in turning feedback into action.

Minpunten

Corporate smothers the smaller offices. Way too big and everything is way too detailed to where nothing is easy to find or understand (policies change almost weekly). IT is outsourced and not helpful. Everything is cheap. Employees feel like pampered cattle. "Float" is only for bigger offices and isn't guaranteed. They will short staff you in a heart beat and tell you your burn out is "growing pains". Raises and bonuses are pathetic. Better compared to PHC, but when the CEO earns 6+ million every year and all we are given is $400 bonus and a 1% raise because we didn't reach impossible goals = not fair. 8-5 M-F is not ideal for healthcare. Bring back more Friday at noon hours.
