Minpunten
Oversea staff in HQ (China) can be mean and nasty. Everyone is on the edge and stressed up. Staff are leaving one by one, either getting placed on a Performance Improvement Program (PIP) after 3 major mistakes are made or forced to leave the job because of some absurd reason. Adding onto the PIP, it is basically a 3-month probation program (duration can be varied) and the staff will be asked to leave if a mistake was made during this duration. Even the staff cleared the program, depending on the mistake severity, he might get terminated by the company as well. The only thing that the management focuses on would be cost and profit. Staff well-being is never factored in their planning. They would rather the staff slog out their life, doing over-time with ridiculous compensation than ensuring the staffs are taken care. As long as the staff does not faint, they should continue to work with their best effort even working overtime. In some cases, the management even asked the staff do sacrifice their personal time to work for the company. To them, it is expected of you to do so. Cutting cost is their favourite sports, squeezing every single dollar from any department. To the people who got offered by this company, think carefully. A piece of sincere advice: If you can wait out for a better opportunity, do not accept job offer from this company. The turnout rate is insanely high, partly due to the pay that is lower than the average market rate which they like to exploit fresh graduate. Once you join in, you got to play by their twisted rules.
