I have never worked in such a dysfunctional company. 1. Rampant nepotism with owner's girlfriends, fiancés, and children working at the company, who are given preferential treatment over any other team member. Anything that is said in the office is told to the owners at home. We have even found family members hiding behind walls to listen to conversations among employees. It is like working in the book "1984". 2. The company's revenue is in decline, since multiple product lines are out of favour with parents and kids, so they have gone through a series of layoffs and not treated people with the respect they deserved. 3. The management uses manipulation and bullying as their primary motivator. 4. Good managers have left or have been beaten down. 5. There is no strategic vision for the company. Every day your direction will change based on a whim.
