Fun work experience, decent pay, and the company would host barbecues and events for the employees. Additionally, all of the coworkers go along so work was always entertaining. They also let you use all of the equipment for free as long as plenty is available and you return it the same day.

The weekend shifts were long, especially mid-summer. Sometimes they would exceed 12 hours, but only in extreme cases. Not a lot of overtime opportunities.
