Where there is change, there is opportunity. I've been employed here several years and my experience is this. Ocean is changing from an old school hardware-centric company to one that offers solutions. We are applying spectral knowledge every day and making the world a better, safer place to live for everyone. That’s what we do. Needless to say, change of this magnitude over such a short period of time isn’t for everyone and some haven’t adapted well. The change isn’t evenly distributed across the company … it comes in fits and starts … some of it isn’t pretty. But that’s the nature of evolution, it should be expected, no one should be surprised and I for one encourage our management to keep going and double down where possible. Change is good. I for one intend to be here to see the outcome of all this change. Overall, I like it …. Granted it’s frustrating some days and exhilarating at other times … and it’s always a lot of work. I wouldn’t trade the opportunities working at Ocean Optics affords me.
