      Corporate entity (except Canada) as a whole is well managed, employees are well compensated, and the work is very meaningful and important in the Canadian blood systems.

      Minpunten

      Hostile work environment. The leadership does not provide concrete strategic direction and the environment is run by individuals who are extremely condescending and hostile. This is not a place to grow your career or have expectations of work/life balance.       - Work is too easy and this can also be a con

      - Management are numbers driven. meaning they only care about the volume of donors verse the satisfaction of their works. Staff are sent home early often if you are not needed. - Schedule 1 week in advance which makes it difficult for people to plan their lives ahead of time. - If youre a nurse, and care for patients this is not the place for you. your documentation is governed by auditors without medical training. - repetitive and mundane. - shifts are 7.5 hours to avoid overtime. -high turn over rate due to cut hours. (staff shortage and no incentives for retention) - no upward mobility -benefits are not comparable to other facilities
