Management is available and you will interact with senior management/executives fairly often, with being a medium sized company that's fairly rare, but refreshing. Opportunity for advancement is stellar and you will have lots of them, you just need to grab onto them!

Training is "as you go" and there are no formal standards as to how to accomplish this. With great freedom, comes great responsibility. You may wear 4-5 different hats a day when communicating internally or externally. This can be overwhelming if you're asked to handle something outside your comfort zone, but if you're adventurous, interested in personal growth and meet challenges head on it won't be a problem. Compensation is a little on the low side. Company is very professional minded old-school, which may or may not be a con, but I really like some of the new companies who aren't quite as stuffy and set in their ways about accomplishing things. There may be a missed opportunity to marry these two cultures and come out on top with the best of both.
