Pluspunten

People (colleagues) and employees make the working environment friendly and familiar. Great working spaces due to the partnership with Lago Arredamenti: really nice furniture! Brand positioning also due to the Social Business Forum organized in the past 6 years.

Minpunten

The classic motto: "Do as I Say (Not as I Do)" perfectly applies to OpenKnowledge working situation. Lack of strategy, poor leadership, there is no focus and orientation on the mission and the vision of the society. Over 10 people (50% of the company) amongst the most talented person in Italy run away from the company in less than 1 year. Lack of competencies and small focus on people career opportunities and growth: there is no learning path and no opportunities to develop your talent. No international vision: the 4 branches are just a name on the website and the focus on innovative themes and topics has been lost and replaced in the last year with each kind of project.

Pluspunten

At some moment in time this company had a very talented, passionate and cutting-edge team, the best to work with on this topics in Italy. Friendly climate among employees.

Minpunten

Among Italy First movers on social business, the company have squandered this patrimony and proven to be an eternal start-up, due to a serious lack of leadership: a great mission, not a real move to achieve it. Poor management, inconsistent strategy and a ever-changing org structure that leads to... nothing. As on Tomasi di Lampedusa' The Leopard: a "everything needs to change, so everything can stay the same" approach, in spite of internationality, transparency and meritocracy statements. Total discrepancy between declared values and what they are and do. This impacts execution: they say they want delivery excellence, they hardly deliver something. This is a game that can be played only in immature markets. On their employees: no respect, no career opportunities, no talent dev and learning programs, low pay, no rewards, no recognition at all. They have no sense of what can keep you engaged... just because they don't care. In fact, the most talented people leaked by in the last 2 year, so the company is emptied of vision and competencies, that now remain as empty slogans: 2.0, then Social, then Digital, then Disruption, and so on... Good luck on the next wave.
