Everyone leaves a "Bad" review after they leave a place and I think a lot of people forget the great things they observed when working at their previous company. Optanix was an incredible place to collaborate with some excellent individuals while developing really interesting tools and providing an excellent level of service to an interesting and diverse customer base. Keyword: WAS

Unfortunately, Optanix has devolved into a charade of chaos, deception, ambiguity, oppression, and stress. Employees who were once "A" tier contributors are being over worked to the point where they are barely delivering 10% of their previous output. The culture demands a 24/7 accessibility that completely disrupts any semblance of a work/life balance. Engineers are being mandated for double shifts and being forced to work weekend/night shifts despite seniority due to a diminishing workforce. Meanwhile, Executive Management blames their lack of hiring on "bad reviews" on company review sites. Its gone as far as the company pandering to new hire employees practically begging for good reviews to raise their rating. It's SUPER obvious which reviews these are and is an embarrassment to the employees that remain there.

Full Time Remote work Decent pay They are trying to come out of the other side of a business transformation and putting a lot of things in place that were not there in the past(401k match, establishing policies and procedures). Expanding to support technologies that have not previously been a focus. Current CEO seems to have the right attitude and approach but overall goals aside from grow and get more customers are not clear.

Full Time Remote work Tasks assigned to you, and scheduled for you out of the blue so you never know whats coming day to day making it hard to plan training or research. If you are remote, you may not see anyone else in person for some time. Currently owned by a bay area VC company which also owns or are majority stakeholders in other tech companies - overall goals are unclear (IPO, or build it up and sell it?) Product offering does not exactly do what the marketing states. Hiring lots of sales staff without filling in the back end support folks and even letting some go. On site employees generally know more of what is going on than remote folks. Too many TLDR replies when documentation offered is in depth. Proprietary platform and language that does not translate to anything outside of optanix .
