great silicon valley benefits very smart people free food

Minpunten

some of the really smart people are more interested in random interesting projects without any business application. Some of the projects could have been done faster but the PhDs chose to do very sophisticated solution just because it is interesting.

Company working on the frontiers of AI and the Space industry. Smartest group of people I ever worked with. Ambitious technical, product and business goals. And a culture of excellence. It was a lot of fun building towards a big idea, and succeeding together!

Minpunten

As the company grew, it became slower to adapt. It did continue to evolve, but as is inevitable as a company shifts from pure startup to growth phase, it takes longer and more effort to steer the ship in a new direction.
