Pluspunten
Some of the associate directors in the finance department are very supportive and pleasant to work with. This improves their team morale, but cannot fully offset the other management issues. Management are talking about getting a better workload distribution for the finance department. This will help those of us that feel overwhelmed if they get the balance right.
Minpunten
There currently appears to be an unfair distribution of workloads and compensation within the finance department. Recent change management has been atrocious. The new system is in place (although still not fully functional 8 months after it should have gone live), so the effects of this are already starting to ease. Just don't expect as much forward planning and guidance from upper management as you might get elsewhere.
