Family owned business so many of the employees are relatives or family friends of ownership. Because of this, there is an air of office politics, bias, and blatant favoritism particularly from certain middle managers. This is more of a beginner level job where you learn and get out. They'll pay according to this concept except when involving certain employees (relatives) who are paid more despite doing more or less the same type of work.
