I've gone back and forth on posting this and how much detail to add. I will just say that there is very limited opportunity to grow in the account management team which is desperately in need of someone who understands it, and Pathpoint's business itself, to manage it. The metrics which are used to evaluate each team member's success are not the appropriate ones to use, and the way they are evaluated is also deficient. While Pathpoint is a startup and is still evolving, the metrics and leadership fail to keep pace with the company's evolution. They are only just now starting to understand that different territories will behave differently. Leadership on this team is very poor, does not understand the team, does not recognize any contributions that you make which don't show up on the Sales KPI spreadsheet, and fails to take accountability regularly even though taking accountability is a core company value.
