Pluspunten
- colleagues were nice, talented people
- product growth
- good customer traction
Minpunten
- lack of company direction and diversity, high turnover in leadership. for the past few years, leadership has been mostly men. we had a VP of engineering for half a year and there was no transparency around why he left. there seems to be a pattern of them promoting from within to fill spots
- work life balance is not great. heavy workload on small teams. expectations to work off hours. pay might seem good initially, isnt great after considering amount of hours worked weekly
- little to no opportunity for personal growth. had many manager changes. there was a career ladder in place although I never knew where I stood and feedback was limited. people seem to leave after 2/3 years due to this
- negative culture. not a company that values feedback. there seems to be one way of doing things and people dont feel comfortable sharing opinions since they arent valued. definitely a "bro culture"
- no hr team for over a year. not sure what happened but guessing they did not align with these points
- retention issues. sensed low morale from engineering side
