Pluspunten
Your pay was decent once you added in commission and bonuses, and the name recognition helped out in the field. Training was superior than similar companies. Not a terrible first sales job, looks good and is respected on your resume and it's sales training that you can take with you for the rest of your career. Just don't plan on staying there longer than 2-3 years.
Minpunten
No loyalty to their employees, you're only as good as your month and they will manage you out the door for any reason. From a sales perspective, there is really no room for real advancement past that position (opportunities are few and far between). Office politics play a huge role in things, and it can get drama crazed and catty. HIGH turnover rate, they don't allow new reps to develop their territories before the pressure is on to manage them out. No communication between the departments, half of your sales time is putting out operations fires. Also, no control over where your territory is. My territory was 70-90 miles away and I was driving between 200-320 miles per day with no extra compensation when some reps live in their territory. Also the sales rules promotes being a shady sales person and stealing from your coworkers and your managers are in on it. It's kill or be killed. Pricing and discounting is not competitive in the industry
