It’s been a roller coaster ride being in PICK.A.ROO especially during the first few years. Recently things have taken a wild turn since the change in leadership. The new CEO is slowly revamping the place and prepping us so we can achieve our goals, all while making work not feel like a toxic place. When the new CEO and COO took over, they wasted no time fixing what was broken. They knew that we needed a fresh start, both in terms of the basics and the messed-up culture from before. The vibe in the office now is all about respect and small wins that add up to big improvements across the board. But here's the really cool part: our leaders actually listen to us! They're not afraid to step back and let us take the reins when we need it. Collaboration is the name of the game now, and it make a difference. Our culture is super nurturing now with everyone feeling safe, heard, motivated and more invested. Still a lot to do to get where we need to be but we finally have a leader that walks the talk and not afraid in getting his hands dirty. The support from our stakeholders is also comforting. They are cheering us on and they've recognized the positive changes that have happened, and they've got our back every step of the way. It's a boost of confidence like no other, and it keeps us hungry for even greater success. To sum it up, with the new leadership, we've experienced a total turnaround – fixing the basics, mending our culture, and creating an atmosphere where collaboration and respect thrive. I'm beyond proud to be part of this incredible journey, and I can't wait to see what amazing things lie ahead for PICK.A.ROO!
