Front office is rewarded good pay in good time.

Management doesn't care your performance, the just want to keep labor cost low. They can always hire cheap labor in Shanghai office or India office and delegate job from Hong Kong office. Especially back office is regarded as cost of business and paid very low.

Have pretty successful funds (including both quantitatively managed and fundamental based), well diversified portfolio, and rigorous risk management policies.

Minpunten

Everyone is very busy in the company, some guys took responsibilities of several roles like IT and clearing. So maybe better to hire more people to make everyone specialize in one area.
