CEO is stuck in a 1940s mentality with a near fascist style of management. In the Resourcing / Recruitment team, calls are monitored to ensure a specified allocation of time has been served on the phone as they never trust the resourcers to do their job autonomously. They've mastered the art of fear tactics and micro-management as a result. An archaic and fear-mongering KPI system is in place for the resourcing team; a system which is akin to that of a Wal-Street stock market environment which was prevalent during the roaring 1920s. Let's not mention the ridiculous commission structure in place which literally gives you peanuts. Management actually encourages a hostile competing environment between team members; a disgusting and heinous approach to maximise profits instead of nurturing an inclusive and cooperative working environment.

Since starting here I've had no real downsides - you put the work in, you get rewarded and noticed. I've started as a senior desk analyst, then moved into a team leader role due to the constant positive improvements and my great results. If you're the type of person who takes pride in his work and does the best he can while constantly wanting to grow, this is a good company for you. Unsure about how other branches of the company are, but in my part, we get autonomy and are allowed to make mistakes, learn from them and improve ourselves. So far this is the fairest management style I've seen - you put in the work and provide value, you get valued - obviously this means you need the type of person who does put in the work.

No pluralsight account. No actual break room. Lift sometimes breaks and I need to take the stairs and it's 3 floors but you feel winded because of it, but it's more like 5 floors because it goes around the lift, and then I feel bad about my fitness.
