While we are happy to hear that you liked the culture and your colleagues at Planview; we are disappointed that you were unsatisfied with other aspects. Our management structure has evolved over the past few years as the business has grown and we have developed more of a matrixed approach to leadership. We believe that individuals should have a direct manager in their location / time zone / or country whenever possible so they have the proper support and feel empowered to take action during their workday. Teams do however need to collaborate globally and with functional leaders to stay aligned. The matrixed structure can be challenging but ultimately will provide the best support for individuals and the business as we grow. We benchmark compensation and total rewards regularly to understand market dynamics by level. Our merit process is connected to the pay bands associated with this benchmark data as well as other factors like performance and location. One of the things I value most about Planview is the culture of collaboration and innovation. There is a genuine willingness across teams to share knowledge, support one another, and continuously improve the customer experience. I also appreciate the flexibility to explore new ideas and technologies, especially around AI-enabled learning, customer enablement, and modern training approaches. The company encourages continuous learning and provides opportunities to expand both technical and professional skills. Over the years, I’ve been able to deepen my expertise in enterprise portfolio management while also contributing to new initiatives that help customers realize greater value from the platform.
