Everyone is always doing the best that they can with the tools available a their disposal.

Vision of each team and company sometimes felt directionless. Priorities shifted fairly often causing development sprawl and technical debt. Sales/marketing sometimes doesn't align well with the product's value/features. Sales tends to over-sell capabilities and features of the product(s). Executive team brought on poor sales leadership in the past.
