      At Playbuzz, you're free to be yourself. If you're an independent person who likes to express your creativity, this is the place for you. There's no strict dress code and it's a fun, open minded environment. Also, Playbuzz allows you to be independent and there is very little micromanaging from your direct supervisors.

      Minpunten

      If you're someone who enjoys lots of quiet time to concentrate throughout the day, you might find that the open office layout can make this difficult due to simultaneous conversations and close proximity to other coworkers. Also, if you are not one who adapts well to quick changes in your day-to-day workflow, this might not be the right work environment for you.

      Great snacks, a select few employees are really amazing and I'm lucky to work with them everyday. Please note, most of the good reviews on here are about other offices, not NYC.

      Minpunten

      Lack of direction, high turnover rate, toxic HR. Product is sub-par with NYC standards. Playbuzz has a history of hiring and laying off people within a few months (or even days at HQ). They've let about 40% of us go over the last 6 months. It's common practice to lie to potential employees during the hiring process about the state of the business before bringing them on-board. Due to chaotic lay-offs and firings, we have residual fear of being let go nearly everyday. Claims to have amazing benefits and cover health insurance, but copays are $30 and $50. Israeli management working in the NYC office doesn't really talk to us Americans. It's weird as we all sit in the same room (it's not that big of a room).
