Polaris has a lot of people that have been working for the company a long time and so you can sometimes run into some stubborn personalities who fight for certain thing based on the premise that "this is the way we've always done it" which is something a lot of companies experience. The salary situation at Polaris isn't always ideal due to the fact that they offer a lot of other benefits like profit sharing and a free unit after a year of service with the company to promote the aspect of living the riding experience which are great perks but if the company isn't performing well then profit sharing suffers and thus the overall pay does as well.
