Starting pay can be competitive depending on the market. The company is working on building a more progressive work environment and it shows in certain details. Having specific management pedigrees wherein growth is fostered does make advancement within the company achievable.

Pomeroy faces some challenges from an infrastructure perspective - the internal tools, development, and employee support groups struggle to provide reliable, intuitive solutions to help client facing employees do their jobs to the best of their ability. There's also a general apathy in the face of complaints regarding a lack of progressive compensation where it is most important. These items lead to an unfortunate perception that the company is operating in a low-funded state which makes it difficult for entry level and low-to-mid level employees to have and keep confidence in the company.
