Pluspunten
I personally think that it is a great place to work, having worked for companies in the past who don’t care about their staff, quality or have any integrity whatsoever, PowerON sticks to their values and support their staff with personal development too which I think is unique. PowerON is also generous with their perks and care about their staff’s mental health and wellbeing. You are encouraged to learn, get involved in conversations, offer your thoughts and opinions and provide feedback at any time.
You are not micro managed at PowerON, there are elements of trust between you and your manager so if, like me you get on with your work there are no questions asked. Everyone is really helpful and approachable, just be honest and work to the best of your ability and you will do well.
Minpunten
You need to be able to work on your own if you are working from home and can use your initiative when it comes to getting your work completed and when it comes to learning, you might not get a response straight away from colleagues so you need to be confident enough to go ask someone else. It’s up to you how you manage your day in this department. You also need to agree with the culture of the company, you will not do well if you are not willing to learn and engage in meetings. PowerON is a small company so you are likely to deal with lots of people with different job roles, like the CEO or CIO, if you find this daunting then maybe this isn’t the company for you.
