Pluspunten
Everybody is an expert in their field, but everyone has a strong sense of humility that encourages easy collaboration and the cultivation of new ideas. The core technology is fundamentally patient-first, and the team's engineering focus constantly comes back to patient needs - a great foundation for a truly impactful product. Despite working out of two time zones, the team consistently works very efficiently, and everyone's very conscious and accommodating about the practicalities of remote work. Very fair compensation, both in direct/equity and in solid benefits.
Minpunten
As it's an early stage startup, there are times where the (still relatively small) team has to figure things out that aren't necessarily their main technical focus. There are also times when you might have to compromise a bit on scheduling to keep up the high level of team collaboration (that's a big pro for the company in general). However, both of these points are smoothed over quite a bit by everyone's constant willingness to offer help and share the "burden," and management is always great at checking in to make sure accommodations aren't negatively impacting work-life balance.
