Pluspunten

Despite the horrible management team and predatory work culture, Proslide still manages to attract employees. This is most likely due to the fun industry and markets they operate in. Proslide offers a decent severance package. Innovation has helped build Proslides reputation as a leader in the industry, but this has resulted in a toxic management style and an unfilled career choice for many who stay at the company.

Proslide focuses on product innovation, NOT EMPLOYEES. Company leaders continuously talk about how great the company is, not how important or innovative their employees are. For Proslide, its about winning industry awards for senior management, not on developing good employees, management practices or efficient work processes. Industry accolades are the only priority at Proslide. Proslide is managed by family members who blindly follow the leader OR long-term employees who are only interested in self preservation. These managers operate daily with the goal of not upsetting the leaders. There is simply no other way of putting this, the owner of Proslide is well known for his fanatical and abusive style of management that his senior management team overlooks or sponsor. Senior management has absolutely no trust or unity with employees. They look at employees as necessary tools to achieve the result of winning more awards. You will be expected to operate with little or no instructions and simply told you are wrong until you produce something that pleases them. There is no focus on employee retention or development. The typical career pathway is either leave the company or adapt to the predatory style of management for the sake of your pay cheque. You will not be appreciated for what you know or can do, only for what you sacrificed for the company or how you reacted to working long hours or the frequent scolding from the owner or his pawns. Only the overtly aggressive, out right frauds or truly submissive seem to survive long term at Proslide.

- Great colleagues - Good Benefits - Contribution matching - Ability to Travel - Good Managers (at least in the department I worked in) - Good internal promotion culture - Bonus (when the company is performing well) - Good Perks, such as allowance for sports, gym membership, or upgraded ergonomic equipment. - REAL Christmas party (at least wen I worked there) and a Golf outing in the summer. Staff BBQ's, - Flexible working situation, within reason (e.g. if you have appointments and its better to work from home that day, that was generally allowed)

- Long hours (high work load) - Repetitive Work - 100% In office - Salary (not horrible but could be better) - Lagging behind in adopting tools that support more efficient, modern practices. - A want to align themselves with policies and procedures of larger organizations, but lacking the infrastructure and support to do so. -Slow to change
