- Het bedrijf lijdt aan een diep giftige cultuur. - De CTO, Agoston Torok, functioneert meer als een contentmarketeer dan als een echte technologieleider. Hun blogs en Reddit-aanwezigheid staan vol met lovende beschrijvingen van hun werkomgeving, maar in de praktijk schiet de organisatie ernstig tekort in effectief people management. - Het bedrijf werkt met een asynchrone, op afstand werkende stijl. Vreemd genoeg ontmoedigt de CTO werkgerelateerde discussies in Slack, omdat hij ze ziet als afleidingen. Dit creëert een omgeving waarin samenwerking en communicatie binnen het team ernstig worden belemmerd. Bovendien ziet hij discussies in GitHub pull requests als argumenten in plaats van productieve communicatie, en staat erop dat PR's worden samengevoegd zonder enige zinvolle dialoog over de opmerkingen. - De teamleiders zijn technisch bekwaam, maar missen essentiële zachte vaardigheden. Ze richten zich uitsluitend op coderen en verwaarlozen het welzijn en de professionele ontwikkeling van de werknemers onder hun toezicht. - Het bedrijf bevordert een cultuur van rassendiscriminatie, een realiteit die ik uit de eerste hand heb ervaren door herhaaldelijke gevallen van vooroordelen en oneerlijke behandeling.

Communication Tools and Practices: As a remote-first company, we have implemented communication guidelines to support productivity and well-being and encourage discussions, while respecting each team member's space for focused work. We believe in autonomy and discourage excessive interruptions that can impact the focus of others, this has been misinterpreted in your feedback. Leadership and Professional Development: Our team leads regularly participate in both internal and external training/coaching sessions to enhance both their technical and soft skills. They also consistently receive high marks in internal reviews from their team. We are dedicated to supporting their continuous development in their challenging role and ensuring they provide the best leadership to their teams. Personal Note: For me, it was particularly challenging to read your review it because it contained allegations and views about our company that were not only surprising but deeply distressing due to inaccuracies.
