The new management is narcicisstic and psychopathic. Shortly after they took over, employees were being fired within the first few weeks. Supervisors were demoted for no clear reason, and some were spoken of an a derogatory way, outright calling them "incompetent" in front of the whole team. The new management painted themselves as a hero, making remarks such as "management has failed you" and "if there is something you don't understand, we'll educate you". Then shortly after, saying "watch your NCR's (the companies version of a write up for mistakes), because we're overstaffed and we don't know what'll happen to you". It was as if they were trying to intimidate the whole team. Immediately, the time rewarded for jobs was reduced. We are expected to do more with less, now having to measure dozens of parts, significantly taking more time, and our productivity scores go down as a result of it. But we still are questioned for it, and are threatened that we'll lose our jobs during our one-one one meetings. (P.S, the threats are not coming directly from the leads giving us our meetings, but are mediated through them by their higher ups). We are not given constructive feedback, just told to "do better". I believe the management is intentionally trying to discourage us into leaving, to deal with the "overstaffed" workplace. If they can't find a reason to fire you, they find a way to make you want to leave. Some employees were fired, while others left because they refused to tolerate the toxicity. When an employee gets fired, they will be told to sign a gag order, threatening that they won't get EI if they don't sign it. Some of the same people in the new management have also apparently made other remarks in the past, such as "What's the problem? Trained monkeys can do your job". Definitely not the kind of behavior the two owners believe in, but of course it never happens in front of them. Also, why are there 3 managers sitting in an office on morning shift? We have 3 shifts, including evening and back shift, but no managers on the other two. Very ironic for a company so fixated on "productivity". I also won't be surprised if the whole team gets spoken to for this post. But it has to be said, and someone has to make it known.
