Pluspunten

-Ability to make $100k+ annually after you get a year or 2 experience. Realistically expect to actually make $40k-$70K your first year depending on how involved you are. -Flexible work schedule meaning you can come and go as you please, work as much or as little as you want* (See cons as well) -Great incentives to do as best as you can such as trips and bonuses -Others and willing to help you as much as possible and make sure you succeed* (See cons as well) -Unlimited leads from past advisors who have left, leaving numerous accounts in limbo that have not been contacted in years, this means money making opportunity -Reimbursement for upfront expenses

Minpunten

-Do not expect to take a day off your first year. If you do, expect to hear about it from your "managers" -During pre-contract, you need to have 2 hours every Friday set aside for a conference call that is essentially just a waste of time talking about what you and everyone else did during the week and if you didn't meet their expectations, be ready to get hammered in front of everyone. -Do NOT believe a recruiter if they tell you that you will make over $100k your first year. You do not have the product or market knowledge off the bat to make this. The only exception would be that you already have a year or two experience in the industry. -Do not have a job while acquiring your licenses or else you will be hammered for not advancing fast enough. -Trainers say they are there too help you during license studying, but they aren't, they just refer you too the material or company you are studying through -Lot's of up front costs that you need to have saved for. My $800 that was told to me during an interview with my recruiter turned out to actually be $1800

Pluspunten

They take you to lunch on your first day. Hybrid 2 days in the office, but I'm sure that will increase. The benefits & pay.

Minpunten

No training at all. You learn by failed case work and what other coworkers tell you. They expect you to do case work you have never processed before. If you fail too many cases, they put it against you and say your quality is bad. Train normally and the quality wouldn't be bad. If you continue to do "bad", they will just put you on phone calls every day to help rude and mean old people. Upwards of 40+ calls daily. They also don't put everyone on phones even though they say being on phones is an essential part of the job. They pick and choose their favorites to do casework and put everyone else on phones daily. Managers are useless and just sit in meetings all day and don't offer help, training, or guidance. Managers also provide snobby remarks when asking for clarification or help and answer back as if you are the dumbest person in the room and act as if you should already know the answer.
