Which on the one hand is great because there are often opportunities to learn new things and grow, but if you don't want that then it means doing a little additional work outside your typical job title to keep things moving smoothly.

Software had been stagnant for many years and needs updating. Unexpected layoffs and reorganization. Realized their mistakes in letting go of the employees that kept everything running and tried to get some employees back. Poor decision making.
