Self centered leadership Flat - 100s of people report into half dozen execs. No opportunity for advancement. No structure. No support. No help given when you ask for support. Focus is solely on ensuring the client is happy even when they are problematic. Completely disregards evidence of failures by leadership. Blames others for their own issues. Communication and what’s happening around the organization is not shared Culture is non existent unless you’re in the Victoria office.

Pluspunten

People are great and know their stuff, always willing to help and open to discussion. Practice guilds meet monthly to share info and lessons learned. Pay is slightly higher than average but no bonus scheme.

Minpunten

It's a shame the great folks who do the work are let down by management who are all old, white men. The CEO is a boomer himself from old money. He may seem kind and grandfatherly, but he watches all revenue like a hawk and will cut you if you're benched. I'm one of the many folks who got laid off when their bread & butter (BC govt contracts) dried up. We had a hiring spree the year before which proved short-sighted and unsustainable - something that should've been obvious, But this company has been a traditionally a sales / contractor company who only cares about the bottom line. HR (people & culture) - are there to enforce the CEO's will, nothing more. They're not their to support you, they're not your friends nor are they interested in lifting company morale. People "disappear" and they won't tell you why. They do very little and are overpaid.

Team members are talented and strive to provide highly technical solutions with great client service and insights. Great projects to work on with real impact to citizens in Canada

Minpunten

Executive / leadership is toxic and not aligned. Revenue comes first, then the client. CEO is not savvy and often makes challenging decisions based on little information.
