Pluspunten
I, honestly, do not have anything good to state here. Free coffee, tea, and flavored water on the occasion you are allowed to leave your work area. A large portion of people were allowed to work from home after they moved their offices so far away(Madison to Secaucus), but since Quest gets a tax credit by having a minimum number of people in the office(which is not shared with those people via commuter benefits or any other means), they are attempting to force more and more workers to take excessively long commutes and come in regularly.
Minpunten
This company comes across as unethical, illegal, and abusive of employees. Most people there seemed rather unhappy to be there. I would stay far away from this place. I will not go into the details of the illegality, but in my case, as confirmed by a legal firm, they did break the law. They watch you on the cameras, record your PC desktop(ObserveIT, which would be considered as "malware" if not a licensed/sanctioned product), ask other employees to spy on you, and read all the door badge swipes, even going so far as to question bathroom breaks(who has time for this?). This is something they will NOT tell you prior to your hiring. They do not trust the people that they hire, and they abuse the contracting, outsourcing, and H1-B Visa systems to artificially deflate wages and forestall offering benefits(health, PTO, etc). They have A LOT of contractors/consultants and they turn over quite a bit; a "contract-to-hire" position at Quest likely offers no "to hire." If this is the dystopian corporate-overlord future you had in mind, you'll love Quest Diagnostics. If you wish to be treated like a human being with respect, it's likely you should not enable places like this.
