Minpunten
Leadership - Completely detached to employee, client & product needs distracted by cheap wins and optical success. While the leadership prior to the merger was poor, post-merger it has only gotten worse. Will probably continue to cut salaries, benefits, perks, promotions, raises and raise quotas until the company dissolves. Product: A very cool and useful research tool that was abandoned & left behind by leadership. Instead of taking on simpler UX fixes that would improve the efficiency of using the product for end users, the leadership team decided to reinvent the wheel and churn out a useless spin off product that was sunset the following year due to poor sales. Quid had a chance at success 2 years ago when it was still novel, supported by best in class engineers & commercial teams, and when employees were still sold on the idea of what Quid could be. Now it’s been the same for about a year, no implementation of broadly requested features that could truly impact users, just more bandaid fixes and optical improvements. Culture: The cheaper the better should be Netbase Quid’s motto - do not expect any common tech company perks here.
